Welcome to the Learning and Advising Centers at Penn State Scranton! The Learning Center is located in the lower level of the Study Learning Center (SLC) in the David and Ann Hawk Student Success Center. Peer and professional tutors provide free academic support to students. The mission of the Learning Center is to promote educational opportunities and enhance academic achievement for all students. The Learning Center interacts with faculty, staff, and students to provide a range of services specifically designed to meet individual needs and goals.
The Advising Center and Division of Undergraduate Studies are located in the David and Ann Hawk Student Success Center. The Division of Undergraduate Studies is designed to assist all students with academic concerns and educational plans. Services include the following: New Student Orientation Program (NSO). This program helps students evaluate their educational plans and objectives prior to attending first-semester classes. Enrollment in the Division of Undergraduate Studies allows exploration in programs of study or to meet requirements for a change of program.
